海兵第２１４攻撃中隊が部隊交代計画に基づき、母基地であるアリゾナ州ユマ基地より１２月１８日、岩国に到着した。

同中隊、通称「ブラック・シープ」の指揮官はデュエイン・リヴェラ中佐。部隊はおよそ１２５人の海兵隊員とAV-8B型ハリアー攻撃機およそ６機で構成されている。

VMA-214 arrives at MCAS Iwakuni

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan (Dec. 23, 2015) –

Marine Attack Squadron 214, stationed out of Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., arrived here Dec. 18 as part of the Unit Deployment Program.

Lt. Col. Duane Rivera commands the "Black Sheep," which consists of approximately 125 Marines and approximately 6 AV-8B Harrier aircraft.
