海兵第３戦術電子戦攻撃中隊が部隊交代計画に基づき、８月７日、ノースカロライナ州チェリーポイント基地から岩国に到着した。

同中隊、通称「ムーン・ドッグス」の指揮官はデイヴィッド・L・マンカ少佐。部隊はおよそ２００人の海兵隊員とおよそ５機のEA-6B型プラウラー電子戦機で構成されている。

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan – (August 7, 2015) –

Marine Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 3, stationed out of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., arrived here Aug. 7, 2015 as part of the Unit Deployment Program.

Maj. David L. Manka commands the "Moon Dogs," which consists of approximately 200 Marines and approximately 5 EA-6B Prowler aircraft.
