本日をもって、海兵第１５２空中給油輸送中隊（VMGR-152）の沖縄から岩国への移駐を完了とする。

海兵第１５２空中給油輸送中隊の移駐は、在日米軍を再編しその活動を配分するにあたり、目に見えるかたちの実際の動きを進め実現するために力を尽くしてきた日米二国間の努力において、重要かつ大きな節目である。

Effective today, the transfer of VMGR-152 from Okinawa to Iwakuni is complete.

The transfer of VMGR-152 marks an important and major milestone in our bilateral effort to realize tangible, realistic movement forward in realigning the presence and distributing the activities of U.S. forces in Japan.
