海兵第１２１全天候戦闘攻撃中隊が部隊交代計画に基づきカリフォルニア州ミラマー基地から岩国に１月２５日到着した。

同中隊「グリーンナイツ」の指揮官はマイケル・R・ウォーターマン中佐。およそ１６０人の海兵隊員とF/A-18型ホーネット戦闘攻撃機およそ１０機で構成されている。

「グリーンナイツ」は、カリフォルニア州ラムアー海軍基地へ帰還した海軍第９４戦闘攻撃中隊と交代した。

VMFA(AW)-121 arrives at MCAS Iwakuni

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan (January 27, 2012)

Marine All Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 121 arrived here January 25 from Marine Corps Air Station Mirarmar, Calif., as part of the Unit Deployment Program.

Lt. Col. Michael R. Waterman commands the "Green Knights," which consists of approximately 160 Marines and approximately 10 F/A-18 Hornet aircraft.

The Green Knights replaced Navy Strike Fighter Squadron 94, which returned to Naval Air Station Lemoore, Calif.
