海兵第２３２戦闘攻撃中隊が部隊交代計画に基づきカリフォルニア州ミラマー基地から岩国に３月１７日到着した。

同中隊「レッド・デビルス」の指揮官はトラヴィス・S・ケリー中佐。およそ２００人の海兵隊員とF/A-18型ホーネット戦闘攻撃機およそ１０機で構成されている。

「レッド・デビルス」は、サウスカロライナ州ビューフォート基地へ帰還した海兵第１１５戦闘攻撃中隊と交代した。

VMFA-232 arrives at MCAS Iwakuni

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan (March 27, 2012)

Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 232 arrived here Mar. 17 from Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., as part of the Unit Deployment Program.

Lt. Col. Travis S. Kelley commands the "Red Devils" which consists of approximately 200 Marines and approximately 10 F/A-18 Hornet aircraft.

The Red Devils replaced Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 115, which returned to MCAS Beaufort, S.C.
