海兵第１２２戦闘攻撃中隊が、部隊交代計画に基づき　サウスカロライナ州ビューフォート基地から岩国に２月３日到着した。

同中隊、通称「ウェアウォルヴス」の指揮官はウェイド・E・ワイゲル中佐。部隊はおよそ２３０人の海兵隊員とF/A-18型ホーネット戦闘攻撃機およそ１０機で構成されている。

「ウェアウォルヴス」は、カリフォルニア州ミラマー基地へ帰還した海兵第２２５全天候戦闘攻撃中隊と交代した。

VMFA-122 arrives at MCAS Iwakuni

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan (February 6, 2013)

Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 122 arrived here Feb. 3 from Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, S.C., as part of the Unit Deployment Program.

Lt. Col. Wade E. Wiegel commands the "Werewolves," which consists of approximately 230 Marines and approximately 10 F/A-18 Hornet aircraft.

The Werewolves replaced Marine All Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 225, which returned to MCAS Miramar, Calif.
