海兵第５３３戦闘攻撃中隊が、部隊交代計画に基づき　サウスカロライナ州ビューフォート基地から岩国に３月２２日到着した。

同中隊、通称「ホークス」の指揮官はケビン・オラウク中佐。部隊はおよそ２１０人の海兵隊員とF/A-18型ホーネット戦闘攻撃機およそ１０機で構成されている。

「ホークス」は、サウスカロライナ州ビューフォート基地へ帰還した海兵第２２４全天候戦闘攻撃中隊と交代した。

VMFA-533 arrives at MCAS Iwakuni

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan (March 27, 2013)

Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 533 arrived here March 22, from Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, S.C., as part of the Unit Deployment Program.

Lt. Col. Kevin O’Rourke commands the "Hawks," which consists of approximately 210 Marines and approximately 10 F/A-18 Hornet aircraft.

The Hawks replaced Marine All Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 224, which returned to MCAS Beaufort, S.C.
