米海兵隊岩国航空基地 --
<p>海兵第１１２戦闘攻撃中隊が、部隊交代計画に基づき、テキサス州フォートワース海軍航空基地統合予備役施設より岩国に８月３日、到着した。</p>
<p>同中隊「カウボーイズ」の指揮官はマイケル・P・ジェフリーズ中佐。部隊は、海兵隊員およそ２００人とF/A-18D型ホーネット戦闘攻撃機およそ１０機で構成されている。</p>
<p>「カウボーイズ」は、サウスカロライナ州ビューフォート基地へ帰還した海兵第１２２戦闘攻撃中隊と交代した。</p>

<p>Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 112 arrived Aug. 3 from Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas, as part of the Unit Deployment Program.</p>
<p>Lt. Col. Michael P. Jeffries commands the "Cowboys," which consists of approximately 200 Marines and approximately 10 F/A-18D Hornet aircraft.</p>
<p>The "Cowboys" replaced Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 122, which returned to MCAS Beaufort, S.C.</p>
