岩国基地は５月２１日（木）朝に報道関係者に対して、基地内の高校で行われる特別な調理の授業を取材する機会を設けます。地元の食肉解体のプロであるミコー食品の沼本憲明氏を学校にお招きして生徒の前で高森牛のカットを披露していただき、生徒には高森牛を見て、聴いて、味わって、五感で感じて、地元食材への理解を深める機会となります。

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan (May 11, 2026)

Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni will host a media opportunity aboard the air station on the morning of Thursday, May 21, to cover a special culinary art class that will take place at M.C. Perry High School. The local butchery professional, Mr. Numamoto Noriaki from Miko Foods, will demonstrate professional butchery to the students and the students will experience Takamori beef through all five senses during the class and deepen their understanding of local foods.
