岩国基地で１２月６日（土）に予定されている２０２５年ツリー点灯式について報道関係者の皆様へ取材のご案内をいたします。ツリー点灯は岩国基地で幾年も行われてきており、光り輝く電飾の光、音楽、そしてホットチョコレートでホリデーシーズンの喜びを分かちあいたく基地の門を日本の皆様に開放いたします。

取材をご希望の報道機関は１１月２５日（火）までに、電子メールで岩国基地報道部( iwakuni.commstrat@usmc.mil )宛てにお申し込みください。その際、氏名（ふりがな）、所属報道機関名、携帯電話番号、現住所、西暦での生年月日と取材日時点での年齢、国籍、日本の運転免許証かパスポートの個人の番号を各自添えて、お申し込みください。基地へ確認のお電話をいただければお申し込みが確実です。承認された報道関係者には後日あらためて集合日時・場所等の案内があります。基地が発表する情報や会場を俯瞰で撮影する機会は、事前に登録された報道関係者にのみ提供されます。

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan (November 20, 2025) – 

Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni is honored to invite media representatives to cover the 2025 Holiday Tree Lighting scheduled at the air 
station for Saturday, Dec. 6. The tree lighting is years of tradition at MCAS Iwakuni, and we will open our gate to the people of Japan to share the enjoyment of the holiday season with glowing lights, music, and hot  chocolates.

Interested media should sign up by sending an email to MCAS Iwakuni Communication Strategy and Operations (iwakuni.commstrat@usmc.mil) by Tuesday, 25 November. Please include your full name, media agency, cell phone number, current address, date of birth, your current age, nationality, I.D. number of either Japanese driver’s license or passport. Follow-up phone call is strongly encouraged for confirmation of the registration. Approved media representatives will be informed of base entry process. Official information and the opportunity for overhead photography will only be provided to pre-registered media representatives.
