岩国基地内で予定されているハロウィ－ン行事を取材する機会について、報道関係者の皆さまにご案内申し上げます。

１１月１日（金）午後５時から８時までの間、基地と愛宕の住宅地の両方で、ハロウィーンの「TRICK-OR-TREAT（トリックオアトリート、お菓子をくれなければイタズラするぞ）」のイベントが開催されます。お菓子に目がない基地の住民に加えて、日本の家族連れのかたも一緒に楽しまれるイベントで、お化けや小鬼、小さな怪物などの仮装をした日米の子供たちが、住宅地を歩き回ります。岩国基地報道部は今年はメインベースの会場に報道関係者をご案内します。

取材をご希望の報道機関は１０月９日（水）までに、電子メールで岩国基地報道部（iwakuni.commstrat@usmc.mil） 宛てにお申し込みください。その際、氏名（ふりがな）、所属報道機関名、携帯電話番号、現住所、西暦での生年月日と取材日時点での年齢、国籍、日本の運転免許証かパスポートの個人の番号を各自添えて、お申し込みください。基地へ確認のお電話をいただければお申し込みが確実です。

MCAS Iwakuni Media Advisory Halloween Trick or Treating

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan (October 7, 2024) –

Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni would like to invite media representatives to cover Halloween Trick or Treating scheduled aboard the installation.

Halloween Trick or Treating will take place both at the main base and Atago Hills between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 1. An overwhelming number of American and Japanese ghosts, goblins and little monsters are expected to roam the streets as part of a beloved, shared event with candy-crazed station residents and many local Japanese families. MCAS Iwakuni Communication Strategy and Operations will escort media representatives to the main base this year.

Interested media should sign up by sending an email to MCAS Iwakuni Communication Strategy and Operations (iwakuni.commstrat@usmc.mil) by Wednesday, Oct. 9. Please include your full name, media agency, cell phone number, current address, date of birth, your current age, nationality, I.D. number of either Japanese driver’s license or passport. Follow-up phone call to the air station is strongly encouraged for confirmation of the registration.
