米海兵隊岩国航空基地 -- 岩国基地ではホリデーシーズンの善意を分かち合いたく、皆様をご招待申し上げます。２０２２年のクリスマスツリー点灯式が、１２月３日（土）午後５時より基地内にて催されます。ツリーの点灯式は、クリスマスと新年のホリデーシーズンの到来を祝って行われるもので、アメリカの慣習です。無料のクッキーやホットココアが振る舞われるほか、お祭りのように飲み物や食べ物の出店もあります。
取材や見学を希望する報道機関は、岩国基地報道部（iwakuni.commstrat@usmc.mil ） へ電子メールにて１１月１８日（金）正午までにお申込みください。取材申し込みの際、電子メールには氏名（ふりがな）、所属報道機関名、携帯電話番号、現住所、西暦での生年月日と現時点での年齢、国籍、日本の運転免許証かパスポートの個人の番号を各自ご記入の上、お申し込みください。取材申し込みを確実にするため、登録時に基地へ確認のお電話を加えることを強く推奨します。基地への立ち入りおよび取材が承認された報道機関に対し、追って基地への入場方法についてご連絡申し上げます。

Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni is honored to invite you to share the goodwill of the holiday season. The 2022 Holiday Tree Lighting will be held here on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 5 p.m. The tree lighting marks the beginning of the holiday season and is an American custom. Free cookies and hot chocolate will be available, festive food and drinks are available for purchase.
Interested media should sign up by sending an email to MCAS Iwakuni Communication Strategy and Operations (iwakuni.commstrat@usmc.mil) by noon on Friday, 18 November. Please include your full name, media agency, cell phone number, current address, date of birth, your current age, nationality, I.D. number of either Japanese driver’s license or passport. Follow-up phone call is strongly encouraged for confirmation of the registration. Approved media representatives will be informed of base entry process.
