米海兵隊岩国航空基地は日米で共用する基地内において、双方の人員がともに運動会に参加し、健全なスポーツ精神で競い合う姿を報道公開する機会を１０月２８日（金）に設けます。

海上自衛隊の下士官で構成される海上自衛隊海曹会が、米海兵隊や米海軍の兵士とのつながりや絆を強くしようと日米スポーツ大会を企画、調整してくれました。海兵隊員、海軍兵、海上自衛官のチームが、重量挙げ、綱引き、パン食い競争を含む障害物リレーなどの様々なイベント種目で競います。

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan (October 19, 2022) -

Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni will host a media opportunity to view bilateral service members compete in a good spirited sports competition aboard the shared installation by joining in Undo-kai, or a sports day, together on Friday, Oct. 28.

Japan Maritime Self Defense Force Kaiso-kai, the group of enlisted sailors, planned and coordinated a bilateral sports competition in order to strengthen bond with U.S. Marines and Sailors. The teams of U.S. Marines, Navy sailors, and JMSDF sailors, will compete several types of events, such as Weight lifting, Tug of war, a running race of bread-biting and other obstacles.
