MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan (August 17, 2021) –

MCAS Iwakuni has learned that the case of COVID-19 reported on August 16, 2021 was miscommunicated to be positive. The individual has tested negative for COVID-19 and is not in a restriction of movement status.

MCAS Iwakuni Release No. 053-21 (Aug. 16) has been retracted.
