【仮訳】これまでの２４時間以内に、岩国基地において新型コロナウイルス検査で１名が陽性と判明しました。この人物は前回特定された複数の陽性事例の周辺の人物を対象に行った大規模な検査のうち、結論が出なかったために行われた再検査で判明しました。現時点で他に再検査の必要性はありません。この人物は１１月９日以降、外出制限下に置かれていました。

濃厚接触者として特定された全員が隔離下に置かれています。１１月９日及び１０日に発表された複数の陽性事例の周辺の人物に行った大規模な検査は完了し、結果はすべて告知されました。

基地内の医療当局は基地の外の保健当局に対し、本件に関連する追跡調査で得られた内容について今後とも情報を提供していきます。

陽性との検査結果を受けた全員が、海軍の医療当局が定める指針に基づき回復したとの判断がなされるまで、隔離下に置かれます。

COVID-19 Update

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan (Nov. 14, 2020) – 

Within the last 24 hours, one (1) individual at MCAS Iwakuni has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was retested due to an inconclusive result as part of a large-scale testing initiative for those in proximity to previously identified positive cases. No other retests are required at this time. This individual has been in a restriction of movement status since Nov. 9. 

All identified close contacts have been quarantined. Large-scale testing of those in proximity to the positive cases announced on Nov. 9 and 10 is complete and all results have been reported. 

On-base medical authorities will continue to provide information to off-base health authorities concerning relevant contact trace findings.

All individuals who receive positive tests results will remain in isolation status until classified as recovered in accordance with Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery guidance.
