岩国基地で１１月９日に新型コロナウイルス検査で陽性と判 明した３名について、基地は行動履歴や接触先の追跡調査を完了しました。追跡調査の中で、新たに２名 が陽性と判明し、この２名も隔離措置に入っています。 
 
濃厚接触者として特定された全員は隔離下にあります。陽性と判明した複数例の周辺の人員を対象に大規 模な検査を現在すすめています。 
 
基地内の医療当局は基地の外の保健当局に対し、この件に関連する追跡調査で得られた内容について今後 とも情報を提供していきます。 
 
検査結果が陽性であった者は全員が、海軍の医療当局が定める指針に基づき回復したとの判断がなされる まで、隔離下に置かれます。 

COCID-19 Update (Nov. 11, 2020)

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan (Nov. 10, 2020) – 

Contact tracing is now complete for the three (3) individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 on Nov. 9. During contact tracing, two (2) additional positive cases were identified and those individuals have been isolated. 
 
All identified close contacts have been quarantined. Large-scale testing of those in proximity to the positive cases is currently underway.  
 
On-base medical authorities will continue to provide information to off-base health authorities concerning relevant contact trace findings. 
 
All individuals who receive positive tests results will remain in isolation status until classified as recovered in accordance with Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery guidance.
