米海兵隊岩国航空基地では、２月１５日（水）午前１０時より、基地の最新鋭のOTC（作戦運用訓練複合施設）を報道公開する機会を設けます。OTCにはフライト・シミュレーターが格納されています。

岩国基地のOTCは海兵隊の中でも最大規模のフライト・シミュレーターを擁する訓練施設であり、現在、KC-130J、F/A-18D、そしてF-35Bの操縦者に対しシミュレーターを用いた訓練を提供することができます。フライト・シミュレーターを使うことでパイロットは錬度を高めることができ、より安全な飛行につながるほか、より確実な即応態勢を築くことができます。

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan - (Feb 8, 2017) –

Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni will host a media opportunity on Wednesday, February 15 at 1000 to showcase the installation’s state-of-the-art Operational Training Complex, which houses the air station’s flight simulators.

The Operational Training Complex is the largest flight simulator training complex in the Marine Corps and currently provides simulated training for KC-130J, F/A-18D and F-35B aviators. The flight simulators enhance pilot proficiency, leading to safer flights and increased readiness.
