MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan - U.S. Navy sailor, aviation electronics technician 2nd class Alejandro Palos, Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Detachment and a native of Texas, is handed the warrant for his Impact Iwakuni award by U.S. Marine Corps Col. Richard Rusnok, the commanding officer of Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni and a native of Pennsylvania on MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, Sept. 19, 2024. The Impact Iwakuni award is presented monthly to recipients that make a positive impact on the community, and AT2 Palos won the award for over 750 hours of volunteer service and multiple other efforts.
