米海兵隊岩国航空基地 - 7月25日、米海兵隊岩国航空基地を訪問した岩国市の福田良彦市長と中国四国防衛局の今給黎学局長に対して概況説明をする、第19無人機哨戒飛行隊（通称「ビッグ・レッド」：VUP-19）のケイシー・パウウェル海軍少佐。この訪問の目的は、7月12日に岩国基地に到着したノースロップ・グルマンMQ-4Cトライトンの重要性と機能について話し合うため（写真：レイモンド・トン兵長）。
