米海兵隊岩国航空基地 - 4月18日、米海兵隊岩国航空基地の港湾に停泊する米海軍艦船ミゲル・キースに着艦する、第25ヘリコプター海上戦闘飛行隊（HSC-25）所属の米海軍SH-60シーホーク。港湾施設を有し、第12海兵飛行大隊（MAG-12）、第5空母航空団（CVW-5）、海上自衛隊第31航空群（FAW-31）が駐留する岩国基地は、地域の安全と日米同盟を支援する先進海軍統合を提供できる類まれな位置づけにある。（写真：ダリエン・ライト兵長）
