米海兵隊岩国航空基地 - 4月27日、初動対応訓練中に模擬負傷者を除染するための準備をする米海兵隊岩国航空基地でロバート・ケイシー海軍横須賀病院、岩国クリニックの海軍兵。この訓練でクリニックのスタッフは、患者を更なる危険にさらさないよう、治療する前に除染する訓練を行った。毎年行われているこの訓練は、衛生兵が手順に慣れ親しみ、全体の即応態勢を維持するための再訓練として使われている。（写真：ミッチェル・オースティン伍長）
