Joannabella Smith, a Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni resident, makes paper at the Fudenosato Kobo Museum in Kumano, Japan, Sept. 22, 2016. During the visit at the Fudenosato Kobo Museum with the Cultural Adaptation Program, residents were able to see how the calligraphy paper, brushes and paint pods were made.
