米海兵隊岩国航空基地 -- 岩国基地で１１月２１日（火）午後１時より、取材の機会を開催いたします。
許可になった報道機関は岩国基地内の新規に発足した艦隊レディネス・センター西太平洋地区デポ・レベルの整備格納庫を訪問し、担当者と岩国基地において同レベルの整備を実施することの重要性と有用性について対話する機会を設けます。
艦隊レディネス・センター西太平洋地区ではデポ・レベル（もっとも複雑で高度な）の航空機整備を日本国に前方展開している米海軍と米海兵隊部隊に対して提供しています。 他の利点などの中で、このレベルの整備を地元で実施できる能力を有することは騒音や空の交通量を削減すると同時に安全や運用における準備態勢を増大することになります。

Media Advisory (FRCWP new depot-level maintenance hangar )
MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan (Nov. 14, 2017) –
Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni is hosting a media opportunity aboard the air station at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21.
Approved media will have the opportunity to visit the Fleet Readiness Center Western Pacific's (FRCWP) new depot-level maintenance hangar at MCAS Iwakuni and have the opportunity to speak to a subject-matter expert about the importance and value associated with conducting this level of maintenance here at MCAS-I.
FRCWP provides depot-level (most complex) aircraft maintenance for all forward-based U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps forces in Japan. Among other advantages, having the ability to conduct this level of maintenance locally decreases noise and air traffic, while simultaneously increasing safety and operational readiness.
