The Japanese performers came to visit as a way of saying thank you for the support the school gave during Operation Tomodachi. The festival had performers from the Shunan International Children’s Club, the Shunan Children’s Choir and the Yamaguchi Prefectural Shinnanyo High School Brass band visit M.C. Perry Elementary to continue the ongoing friendship of the station and Shunan city.
